After driving 8 hours from San Diego to San Jose, via the 101, we left this morning at 6:30 and headed to Santa Cruz. We drove through the university and then to Half Moon Bay to check out Mavericks surf spot.
Not sure if we saw the wave, but I definitely spotted Jeff Clark. Clark, owner of Mavericks Surf Shop, is credited with discovering the wave.
Next stop was SFO to switch the rental car because it was making a funny noise. Driving through the city, we hit some traffic. I spotted Post st and demanded a pit stop, The Hundreds, please. I picked up the Post tee to match the hat.
Next, we headed over the Golden Gate bridge, a California icon.
While packing, I counted out 6 pairs of socks and found they were all RVCA. Theyre really warm!
Ill be hitting up some shops in Seattle when I get there so look out for some new clothing and shop reviews.
Good Old War and Anthony Green (lead singer of alt-rock band, Circa Survive) have embarked on a nationwide tour following GOW’s first go around as a headlining act (supported by Sargent House label-mates, Cast Spells). Both Green and Keith Goodwin (singer, songwriter, composer, guitarist, and keyboardist) hail from Philadelphia and have been supporting each other’s projects for sometime now.
GOW is not only opening for Green on his solo tour, but they are also his backing band. Double duty shouldn’t prove too difficult for this trio of extremely talented singers and musicians. I think Good Old War might have better vocal harmonies than any R&B group out today.
Check out Good Old War on tour now with Anthony Green.
