New Merch from the East Coast
This CommonWealth tee features a lot of the same people that you’ll find on the walls of For The Greater Good. (See Previous Post)
The thumbnail shows the inside of tghe shirt, which has a key that lists all of the figures you’ll find on the front of the tee.
Another ’shop tee’. This shirt is called ‘The Smoker’.
This shirt from AlphaNumeric features the eyeglasses that became the trademark of Malcolm X. The quote on the back is a nice touch. I love the subtly of this tee shirt. I refer to it as “Malcolm” and it could be my favorite from this trip.
This is a collaboration tee shirt from Major and Orisue, arguably my favorite DC shop and my favorite streetwear brand from Southern California. I was a just a kid when Marion Barry (Washington, DC mayor) was arrested
These are NICE shoes from a British company called You Must Ceate. (See Previous Post)
They kind of look Vans in shape, but have the gum toe like Converse. But make no mistake these are NICE shoes made of suede.
New Nationals hat in black with flourescent green logo.
DC Boutiques and a new BK Skate Shop from my East Coast Trip
I stopped by my favorite DC boutiques after the inauguration festivities were done.

CommonWealth
Major, CommonWealth, and For The Greater Good. They are clearing out the rest of 2008’s clothing to make way for the new spring lines.

For The Greater Good

*Side Note: I missed Agenda in SD where I could have actually previewed all of upcoming fashions. Oh Well… *
**It will be interesting to see what companies to continue to produce high end, creative apparel in this obvious recession.
It’s not about the money people but the product, THE ART and we’ll see in the upcoming year who has THE HEART to keep at it.**

For The Greater Good – Some of the Great Men from our History
I also went to KCDC, a skate shop in Brooklyn, NYC. Located in Williamsburg, BK, home of the hipster, KCDC has a prime real estate across from the Brooklyn Brewery (also went there). Shopping after a couple of beers is always fun and always dangerous, but with a solid inventory you can’t really go wrong at KCDC.

This store was basically heaven for me. They have a half pipe in 1 half of the store and the other is a shop that carries the hottest skatewear out. I was stoked to see my faves, WESC and Insight, on the shelves. They carry more from these companies than you’ll find at Active in Southern California. I picked up a shop tee called ‘The Smoker’.
Never have I ever lit a cigarette while skating.
