Orisue Pop Up Shop… Today in Venice
If you’re in Southern California and have the day off, get yourself over to Venice and do some shopping. HPCB recommended clothing company, Orisue, and sunglasses manufacturer 9Five will be showing out for you today.
The Hundreds x MAJOR
There’s no East Coast vs West Coast beef here!
The Washington, DC shop MAJOR, located in the city’s historic Georgetown neighborhood, teamed up with The Hundreds to produce their 3rd anniversary tee. The Minor League t-shirt is available in Black at MAJOR, and online. The Hundreds will also release their own colorway on their online store.
Last year MAJOR (Never Minor) did an anniversary collaboration with Orisue, based in Orange County. I picked up the shirt last year at the DC boutique. Check it out here.

So Many Dynamos – Album and Show Review
So Many Dynamos (a palindrome) are relatively young, new band on Vagrant records. Their new album, Loud Wars, has been getting recognition from AP and the likes. The band reminds me of Dismemberment Plan, but has a post punk, electro-punk show blew away comparisons and put SMD high on my list of bands to watch (and to see live as often as possible).
2 years ago when I started this blog, my Band of the Blog was Set Your Goals. In 2009 So Many Dynamos are leading the pack. Stay Tuned.
